Tapered Pipe plug
μ plug GPM1/32, 1/24
more smaller, more smarter.
With the miniaturization of hydraulic equipment, tapered Pipe plugs have also changed to smaller ones.
As a pioneer of tapered Pipe plugs , Gosho has lined up the world's smallest tapered Pipe plugs, μ plugs GPM1/32 and 1/24.
The μ plugs GPM 1/32 and 1/24 are tapered Pipe plugs with new screw bases.
Of course, even if it's this small, Gosho's plugs can be used safely at high pressure.
※When you use taps and screw gauges, you need to use those specified products.
GM type plug
The GM type plugs is a level seal type (flush type) developed by Gosho, and when the plug is screwed into a PT female screw (tapered female screw for pipes) specified in JIS B 0203, the reference diameter is provided near the large end face so that the large end face is almost flush with the mounting surface.
It is indispensable as a main plug for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
■Advantages of GM type plug
1. Since it is level seal type, it is flush with the main body that is embedded and installed, making it possible to reduce the size of the machine with a smart appearance.
2. Since the interference is provided, it can be tightened with large force and can withstand large internal pressure.
3. Since the plug is cold plastic worked, it has high precision, and since it is heat treated, it can be used under high pressure.
GJ type plug
The GJ type plug is called a floating type (JIS type) and is specified in JIS B0203.When screwed into the PT or PS female screw, the reference diameter of the tapered screw is provided near the center of the length (L) so that the large end surface becomes higher than the mounting surface.
Conventionally, PT plugs with square holes instead of hexagonal holes have been standardized by JIS for GJ type.
Recently, GJ Hex Head Tapered Plug are used in various fields to improve tightening safety and work efficiency, and ensure secure tightening.
GDL type plug
The GDL type plug is a level seal type (flush type) developed by Gosho. When the plug is screwed into an NPTF female thread, the reference diameter is provided near the large end face to ensure that the large end face becomes nearly flush with the mounting surface.
■ Advantages of GDL type plugs
1. Since it is a level seal type, it becomes flat on the main body and it is possible to make the machine smaller and smarter in the appearance.
2. Since the thread are NPTF, excellent strength and denseness are obtained.
3. The taper of the plug is 1/13.714 (7/8" per ft), so it bites into the female NPTF thread perfectly and provides excellent tightening.
GD type plug
The GD type plug is the dry seal type plug with a reference diameter position conforming to the American National Dry Seal Pipe Thread (NPTF) standardized by ANSI B 2.2.
Gosho's GD-type plugs are dry-seal type hexagon socket tapered screw plugs with full mating length that provides excellent strength and tightness due to adoption of this NPTF.
